Select which OdataLink server to use for your model
Overview
OdataLink provides you the ability to select which server will serve your data for each model. We recommend choosing a server closer to your location. The Default server is currently located in Australia.
You can choose from 3 different options:
- Default
- Australia
- UK
There are a number of important nuances and mechanisms relating to servers. You can find out more on the OdataLink Servers article.
How to select which OdataLink server to use for your model
To select which OdataLink server to use for your model, follow these steps.
- Click on Models on the menu in the left-hand side;
- Find the model you want to work on and click View;
- Select the Settings tab;
- Click on the Edit Model button;
- Select the Server to provide your data.
- If you want to enforce data residency, tick the Strict option.
- Click Save.
