Allowing / disallowing users access to a model

When a model uses Basic Login Type, users must be assigned to models in order for those users to query the data.

This does not apply when using Anonymous Login Type.

Steps

OdataLink provides two ways to control which users are assigned to models. Both approach leads to the same result.

To assign / unassign multiple users to a single model, follow these steps.

1. Click on Models on the menu in the left-hand side;
2. Find the model you want to work on and click View;
3. Click on the Managed Users button;
4. Tick the users for which to give access;
5. Untick any users for which to revoke access;
6. Click Save.

To assign / unassign a user to multiple models, follow these steps.

1. Click on Users on the menu in the left-hand side;
2. Find the user you want to assign and click View;
3. Click on the Assign Models button;
4. Tick the models for which to give access;
5. Untick the models for which to revoke access;
6. Click Save.
