Relinking an existing OData feed power query in Microsoft Excel

You may need relink an existing OData feed power query to another OData feed url.

This can occur if you built a Power Query to work for a specific model or data file and need to relink it to another.

Steps

Select the old OData feed url

Enter the OData feed url

To relink an existing OData feed power query in Microsoft Excel, follow these steps.

Before beginning, ensure you have copied the OData Feed URL.

1. Within Excel, select the Data tab.
2. Click on the Get Data button, then select Data Sources Setting.

   Note that on some version Excel, the Get Data button is called New Query instead.

3. In the Data Source Settings dialogue, select the OData feed url and click on Change Source.
4. In the next dialogue, paste the OData Feed URL copied previously and click OK.
